I am so excited to share this first song with everyone. This has been one of the most challenging, yet rewarding projects I've ever worked on in my life. Playing every instrument, singing every voice, recording and mixing on my own, this entire process has been very cathartic. I chose to share "Get Me Through" first because of how personal a song it is. I've never written so honestly before, and even though it's a quieter tune it feels really good to start this new phase and this new collection of music with a big piece of my heart. I hope you enjoy.
Recorded over parts of 2019 and 2020 and mixed 2021. This was a lot of fun to write, it really evolved as I recorded each part. It actually started as an acoustic jam, and this is where we're at! Hope you enjoy :)
This is definitely one of the darkest songs I've written. It's about an unhealthy obsession over a person the protagonist will probably never meet. As the song grows so does the obsession to the point where I'm convinced no good would ever come from the pair of these people crossing paths.
